SmartCart – Edge AI Retail Analytics Platform

Designed and developed an end-to-end retail analytics platform processing real-time image and sensor data from IoT-enabled smart carts. Standardizes retail streams into clean tabular schemas for downstream business intelligence.

End-to-End Pipeline: Managed automated data streaming billing across 150+ products and 1,500+ transactions through edge nodes and REST/Socket communication.
Analytics & Forecasting: Configured ETL workflows to load transaction records into an analytics repository, executing sales forecasting, peak hour modeling, and inventory turnover reports via Prophet.
Edge Optimization: Streamlined YOLO11n inference models using NCNN conversion, structural pruning, and FP16 quantization, gaining a 38% shopping time reduction and 85.5% detection accuracy.

DIMS – RFID Inventory Analytics Platform

An enterprise resource and hardware management system utilizing passive RFID scanner sweeps. Features complex transactional workflows to track equipment state and log real-time telemetry.

Database Engineering: Modeled a highly normalized MySQL database schema consisting of 30+ core business tables, implementing indexes and 50+ optimized stored queries for clean analytical extraction.
ETL & Reporting: Scripted backend data processing pipelines to clean unstructured hardware signals, transforming them into operational metrics and lab-wise utilization reports.
Enterprise Deployment: Successfully deployed the architecture on local institutional infrastructure at Vinayaka Missions Dental College to support multi-user borrow/return logs.

AR-based Digital Twin Cold Storage Platform

An IoT-driven monitoring platform connecting real-world sensors (temperature, humidity, weight) with a virtual digital twin environment. Streamlines log files to predict stock levels and thermal variations.

Real-time Data Pipeline: Designed a pipeline reading physical sensor nodes processed by a Raspberry Pi edge agent, synchronizing telemetry into an SQLite repository every 5 seconds.
Analytics Dashboard: Developed a manager dashboard visualizer showing live thermal profiles, container capacities, and automatic threshold alerts.
Predictive Logging: Established tracking schemas that store ambient changes over time, feeding predictive shelf-life calculations for stored perishables.
